Starting Tuesday off with a BOOM!
Last weekend New York City’s Central Park made enough noise to be heard across the globe – all for a good cause. Over 60,000 people filled the Great Lawn for a star-studded concert that raised support for major issues like world hunger and childhood education.
Hosted by Hugh Jackman, the event featured performances by Tiësto, The Roots, Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, No Doubt, and even Jay Z (with a “surprise” cameo by Beyoncé!) Everyone who attended had one goal in mind: To end global poverty by 2030.
The impact was phenomenal – a call to action to leaders from around the world. Even India’s Prime Minister graced the stage, commending Global Citizen for its efforts. The concert brought awareness to drought, pollution, lack of vaccinations and common diseases going untreated.
The best part about the concert is that, though tickets were free of charge, you had to earn them. Young activists were encouraged to share their thoughts on global issues via social media in order to earn points to get tickets.
The night was a great success. No better way to end the summer than to give back in Caché style!
For those of you who live for leather and faux-leather duds have we got a treat for you. We’ve just added our final touches to the upcoming November Collection and we’re lusting over our new faux-leather wine dipped leggings available exclusively online. They were too perfect not to try on, so we did! And now we’re giving you the sneak peek.
These leggings have a soft inner lining that allows the bottoms to move with your body. And don’t let the “faux” fool you, the quality of design behind each pair makes them look and feel 100% authentic! You won’t be able to take your hands off (of your own legs lol)! Oh! And the back features small zippers at your ankles- a trend we’re loving this fall.
This style is also going to stores in black; Both pair perfectly with our new quilted and debossed outerwear pieces. Ladies, clear a little space in the closet, this must-have legging is coming soon!
This week we’re loving Adam Levine and Maroon 5’s new single “Maps.”
Check it out on Caché’s Spotify playlist “Now playing at West 38th St”.
