What are your favorite aspects about the September Collection?
“My favorite aspect of the September collection is that it’s our intro to “true Fall”. Within the assortment you’ll find great transitional pieces, in a fall palette that includes deep purples, and darker shades of red. Key pieces such as outerwear jackets are introduced, our full breadth of core leggings come in with faux leather and hardware details that can be worn back to great novelty tops. Finally, the dress assortment is rich in color and print, in addition to the add on of more structured styles that show on trend fabric mixing.”
What are some of the details that stand out in this Collection?
“Faux leather details along with novelty fabric mixing, that includes foiled fabrics, meshes, and laces. Beautiful hardware such as studs and zips really stand out in this assortment as well.”
What do you like best about your role?
“I truly love working with design and finding the most balanced and best looking assortment of dresses we can possibly put in our stores.”
How did you decide what dresses would work best for this season?
“Seasonally right color, prints, and novelty details were key characteristics I was looking for as I chose the assortment of September day dresses. I wanted to ensure that stores had a variety of looks and silhouttes as they transition from summer to fall.”
What is Trending this month when it comes to shopping dresses?
“Mixing of fabrics is bigger than ever. Whether it’s print on texture, faux leather details on solids or color on color blocking with contrast piping. Lace and metallic are still popular, and two piece dress looks are really trending. Anything, that makes a simple silhouette feel updated and new is big across all departments, not just dresses. Customers are looking for their new basics, and how to update their wardrobes.”
