About Us

In 1976, a Brooklyn-born homemaker on a fashion quest opened a boutique in Miami, Florida. Her name was Marilyn Rubinson and she called it Caché. Though she opened on a whim, with more grit than experience, women flocked there. They were drawn by her confidence, her personal style, and rack-upon-rack of designs that no one else had – Marilyn was the first to bring Mugler, Armani and Versace (to name just a few iconic brands), to the US.

Marilyn’s Caché was more fashion club than retail operation. It was a place where shoppers were treated like girlfriends, fashion was fun and women were fabulous. They shared stories, swapped style tips and left looking and feeling beautiful. Just like today, at Caché stores everywhere.

For three decades we have offered a boutique shopping experience for fashion-conscious women. We deliver a continuous flow of glamorous, confident, contemporary styles that inspire passionate loyalty from the women who wear us.

Merchandise selection on our website varies from our stores. You may contact the store where you saw the item and they will place an order for you, using either an American Express or Discover card.

Can I purchase a gift card online?

Yes. Gift cards are available for purchase online or at any Caché location. Gift cards are not available for purchase and shipment to international customers.

How do I redeem my gift card?

Gift cards may be redeemed at any of the following locations: Caché and online. To redeem online you will be asked input the gift card number and pin (if applicable) during the payment page at checkout. For additional information regarding the redemption of gift cards, please call 1-800-788-2224. Gifts cards cannot be redeem on international orders.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be authorized for the entire amount of the order at the time of purchase. The card will then be charged when the order is shipped. Upon completion of your order, you will receive an email confirmation, confirming that your order was completed.

My credit card was declined, but the charge is showing on my credit card account. Why is the charge still showing on my credit card?

The "charges" that are appearing on your credit card account are pre-authorization holds. They are not charges; however, your card company may be temporarily holding those funds. Your card may have declined due to A) Your BILLING address entered does not exactly match the BILLING address that your card company has on file; or B) Your card company is declining your transaction because of insufficient funds or another reason from your card company. Please contact your card company to release any pending holds from cache.com if you received an ERROR response that matches any of the reasons above. Caché has no control of the grace period for releasing authorized funds, particularly debit card funds.

How quickly will my order ship and when can I expect delivery?

Your order will be processed and shipped within the time frame given for the type of delivery you selected. Ground shipping arrives between 7-10 business days. Rush shipping arrives between 4-6 business days. Express shipping arrives between 2-3 business days.

How do I modify or cancel my order?

Our shipping systems are designed to get orders filled and on their way to you quickly and efficiently. Therefore, we cannot change or cancel an order once it has been submitted.

I just ordered something, but now it's on sale. Do you honor price adjustments?

Yes, we do issue price adjustments on full-price merchandise. However, your order must have been placed no more than 14 days before the price change was made. Please contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-788-2224 to see if you are eligible for a price adjustment. Only for domestic orders.

Do you ship to APO/FPO military addresses or P.O. Boxes?

Yes, however, some products will be unavailable for delivery to these addresses. A message on the product page will inform you if there will be a delivery issue.

Do you save my billing and shipping information so I don't have to enter it each time I place an order?

If you are a registered user on cache.com and have signed in, the current address we have on file for you will automatically show up during the checkout process. You will be able to make any revisions at this time or enter in a different "Ship To" address.

What is your return policy for item(s) purchased online? How do I return the items?

Online purchases may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Gowns purchased may be returned within 14 days of receipt. The merchandise must be unworn with all original tags (including security tags) attached to garments and/or accessories. You can return your merchandise by shipping it back to the address listed on the enclosed paperwork in your package. If somehow this information is not provided, you may use the address listed on the outside of your package. We suggest you either insure the return or require a signature. You may also return merchandise purchased online to any of our stores located nationwide.

What is your return policy for item(s) purchased at a Caché store?

In store purchases may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Gowns may be returned within 14 days of purchase. Please note that in order for us to accept merchandise for refund, exchange or store credit, your selection(s) must be unworn with all original price hang tags and security tags attached to garments and/or accessories. You also must have your original sales or gift receipt present. If you have a return past the 30 days of purchase, and you still have the receipt, you will receive a store credit for the current selling price. If you have a return and do not have your receipt, you will receive a store credit for the current selling price.

Returns

We hope you enjoy your Caché purchase, but should you change your mind, we will happily accept exchanges/returns within 30 days of purchase of merchandise that meets the following conditions:

    • The merchandise is unworn and unwashed
    • All tags (including security tags) remain attached
    • It is presented with an original sales receipt or gift receipt

    To receive a cash refund or refund to your credit card, merchandise must be presented with the original sales receipt. Gift merchandise presented with a gift receipt may be either exchanged or returned for store credit.

    Gown Returns
    Gowns purchased at Caché stores may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of purchase. Gowns purchased at www.cache.com may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of delivery.

    Final Sale

    Items marked Final Sale on the product page, price ticket, or receipt may not be returned or exchanged

    Price Adjustment Policy

    A one-time adjustment may be offered on full-price merchandise that has been reduced when the item is presented in person within 14 days of purchase and accompanied by the original sales receipt.

Can my order be delivered internationally?

Yes. Through our partnership with BorderFree, we are pleased to provide an enhanced international shopping experience for customers in various foreign countries. What items are ineligible for international shipping?

We offer international shipping on most items. Gift cards cannot be purchased or redeemed on international orders. Items that cannot be shipped internationally will be identified by RESTRICTED SHIPPING verbiage near the item's description on the product detail page. These items will also be identified at time of checkout. You will not be able to complete your order until those items are removed from your online shopping cart.

How will I know how much my order will cost?

After you've added items to your basket and clicked on the checkout button, Borderfree will calculate and display a guaranteed order total in your preferred currency - including all shipping costs from our warehouse(s) in the U.S. to your selected international destination, and any applicable duties and taxes imposed by the customs and revenue authorities in the destination country.

Are prices on the Web Site the same as prices in stores?

No. The prices displayed on our Web Site may differ from prices that are available in stores.

I live in the U.S. Can I use Borderfree to ship an order internationally but pay in U.S. Dollars (USD)?

Yes. You can ship internationally using a U.S. billing address and a U.S. credit card (Visa or MasterCard). This also works if you're an American traveling or living abroad.

What payment options does Borderfree support?

Currently, Borderfree supports Visa and MasterCard and PayPal for all international orders. American Express is accepted for orders purchased in US Dollar, Australian Dollar, British Pound, Canadian Dollar and European Euro. In China we also accept China Union Pay.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Are international orders eligible for US promotional offers?

No. International orders are not eligible for promotional offers displayed on-site for US customers - these include: free shipping, free returns, merchandise exchanges, gifts with purchase, promotional codes and gift services. There will, however, be frequent promotional offers available for international customers only.

How much does international shipping cost?

International shipping is calculated using a number of factors, including the number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the items, and the destination country/region.

When am I billed and what will my credit card statement say?

Your credit card will be billed by Borderfree when your package is shipped to its final international destination. "51*Cache" will appear on your credit card statement.

How much duty and taxes are charged on international orders?

Duty (or customs tariffs) is set by the destination country's customs authorities and is based on a combination of the country of origin or manufacturing of the goods being purchased, and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries Borderfree supports. Value Added Tax (VAT) rates are set by the destination country. You will be able to view the guaranteed total amount of applicable duty and tax/VAT for your order within the Borderfree global checkout.

Do you ship to U.S. military addresses (APO/FPO)?

We are unable to ship to APO/FPO military addresses.

I live outside of the U.S. Can I use Borderfree to ship to a U.S. address?

All international orders must have a ship-to destination outside of the United States. We cannot support customers with international billing addresses shipping to U.S. addresses.

International Returns & Exchanges

We will accept merchandise returns on international orders within 30 days of receipt. Please contact us immediately upon receipt of any damaged or defective merchandise.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase and you would like to return an item, please contact us . All international orders must receive a return authorization from our customer service center and cannot be accepted in any of our retail stores. Returns will be credited by our partner in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order.

We cannot accept returns on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Original price tags and security tags must still be attached to merchandise before a return is accepted. We also cannot accept returns of FINAL SALE items.

    International Order Tracking
